Switzel began her dance journey in the Philippines, training in modern, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, theatre, and traditional folk dance. She has performed and choreographed for schools, pageants, festivals, and major events—often as a backup dancer for local artists and visiting celebrities.

A multi-awarded performer, she was recognized as Performer of the Year throughout high school and college and earned the City’s Top Performer in the Art of Dance award as well as her College/University. 

Now based in Canada, Switzel has reignited her passion with MPWR Dance—starting as a student and now teaching Beginner Heels. She’s also a proud mom, entrepreneur, and owner of U Glam Beauty in Surrey, BC.
